Exactly

I’ll wait

I’m not saying I’ll never get it, but I’m not rushing out to get it just so I can travel to the US Virgin Islands.

Phizer and Moderna both have enough data to file a BLA and get a Biologics License a few months later. They are both basically at the formality stage with the FDA at this point.

And when they are actually approved this discussion will change dramatically. But they aren’t. Yet.

It’s extra strange because Trump led the charge to get this shite released

I say that as a Trump supporter and someone who hasn’t gotten the vaccine yet

Sun, just the other day he reiterated to get vaxxed and how proud he was of the work and progress. That it was safe. No one dared challenge Trump re this

No it won’t.

We still have people in this thread claiming we don’t have enough data, when it’s been over a year that these vaccines have been administered.

Next it’ll be “But we don’t have 5 years or data”.

Especially since the vaccines use new methods and are rushed. I mean...c’mon man.

Between taking chances on long term effects I’ll go with American scientists’ vaccines v. a virus created by Chinese scientists in a lab.

You do you, though. Free will for both of us. It’s what makes America great.

I highly doubt this, most will just move the goal posts and claim how the FDA was told to pass it or else

If Joe wants more folks to get vaccines, he should use reverse psychology. Announce that people who don’t support him are strongly advised to not get vaccines of any kind, for themselves or their children, skip colonoscopies, spurn annual checkups, etc. Please, whatever you do, do not take a vaccine and potentially keep yourself alive to vote against Democrats.

because its not the same type of vax

The J&J vaccine is a traditional viral vector vaccine just like the seasonal flu shot.

We often talk like there is only one vaccine, sometimes while not precise it still works other times it promotes confusion.

Most folks got their vaccines in March/April.

quote:

So far, Pfizer’s ongoing trial indicates the company’s two-dose vaccine remains highly effective for at least six months, and likely longer. People who got Moderna’s vaccine also still had notable levels of virus-fighting antibodies six months after the second required shot.
