NOAA/NHC too busy naming any rain shower in the Atlantic so that the climate Change sky screamers can talk about how many more storms we have due to global warming.

Strong wind shear over the Gulf of Mexico that's been in place for a few weeks and doesn't look to be letting up. It's a typical October set up and protects much of the Gulf Coast.
