I do help out a local DME company when they are short handed and I can help. Been a many older folks I’ve sat and talked with over the years. Never had one question me about them. Lots ask when I can come back to visit cause they are lonely and like the company. It sucks being stuck in a nursing home

Classic OT. A one line sentence with a grammar mistake criticizing a poster’s grammar.

So you're saying that because more people than ever are doing it, a "trend" dating back to 3400 BC (almost 5400 years ago) is going to end NOW...
Are you really trying to make the case that tattoos in the west, particularly America, have always been as prevalent as they are now because some guy got one five thousand years ago? Because that flies in the face of the statistics: Yes, it's a trend in this country right now, and yes it's trashy, and yes the pendulum will swing back to where only trashy people have tons of visible tattoos covering their skin.

You seem mighty pressed to make a thread and stick around defending your tattoos that you claim to be impartial, even proud, of having.

They’re trashy because they are trendy. And the trend will pass and you’ll be left with this giant evidence of how trashy you are.

Not all people with tattoos are in prison, but all people in prison have tattoos.

Neither I nor the wife have any tats. Personally, they aren't for me. I see a guy with some, meh. Depends on where. I find it difficult to take you serious if they are on the neck/face/hands. I can't explain it.

On chicks, my personal preference would be no sleeves, no thighs, no tramp stamps. Small ones, ankle, hip, ribcage Chinese writing, no big deal.

I give myself permission to pass judgment if you have those large earhole things. Those are just stupid.

Funny how they get so sensitive about it being considered trashy. Not like they didn't know it going in. Especially the random non-matching randomly placed type is straight stupid trashy. Hey we all do trashy shite but this trendy lasts forever and is permanent.

Here's a contrast of normal to trash...don't let your kids grow up to trash out their lives permanently.

He didn’t make the thread. I did. Never said I was “proud” of them. Just trying to understand the hate some people on here have toward people who have them.

I don't think its hate, I think its sympathy. Like, why did you do that to your skin?

Gauges. I don’t have them and think they look goofy myself. Kinda like a guy with pieced ears. Flat bill hats, squatted trucks, the list goes on. It ain’t my thing, but I don’t care if you have them. Long as I ain’t paying the bill

And they’re a pretty good indicator of poor decision making and lack of intelligence, including forethought.

It isn’t hate.

No one “hates” someone for having tattoos. People think they are stupid and often make a person appear worse.

On top of that, you sound like a vegan in your “misunderstanding” of why people think your lifestyle choices are stupid.

There’s a lot of closet homos here. They dislike tattoos for some reason.

Then a lot of people who’s parents told them tattoos were trashy are mindless and just follow suit.

And a lot of older folks who time has just passed by and they just have that old man Clint Eastwood mindset.

Not having any tattoos is a good start.

Vegan? Far from it…

Misunderstanding? No, it was just a simple question and topic I decided to bring up. That’s all

My b. The point still remains: It seems like the tattooed folks are the ones mad that non-tattooed think their decision is a poor one that's extremely popular right now- more than ever.

I guess there'll be a protected class soon for the people who are getting murdered every day for their ink? Will the progs put a line on the flag for yall? No logical person has hate for someone with a tattoo. I got one when I was 16 over 20 years with a fake ID on my bicep. It was not something that many folks had, and if they did it was hidden. It looks like shite now and got old quick. I'd never get another one, trendy or not.

But don't flatter yourself, I don't hate you for having ink. That's ridiculous.
