Because you shouldn’t finance a pool, you broke bitch

We had a pool growing up
We didn’t use it as we got older
A lot of work keeping it up, especially with leaves
No way I’d risk the liability now

We’ll be paying the $75k cash.

Cause your wife will be banging Jody in it while you’re at work paying for it.

Build it. Just know it doesn’t increase the value of your house that much. Just built one because the GF (no pics) wanted one.

Has been a God Send through the Corona.

I’m extremely pro pool. But since you asked,,
Because the excavator and bobcat will tear up your lawn on dig day.

Because after the first couple of years you’ll get tired of it and hardly ever want to get in after that. Then you’re stuck with years of upkeep.

I had an in ground pool. A tree fell on it during Katrina and ruined it. Not to be dissuaded, I rebuilt. During Gustav, another huge tree fell on the pool, destroying it again. The second time, I got the message. God doesn’t want me to have a pool. Moral - read the “signs.”

If you can drop 75k on a pool, why are you asking OT for advice?

A pool is like sex.
If you don't have access to it, you want it all the time.
Once you have unlimited access, you're like "meh".

Wow that’s a lotta dough. Don’t forget the time and money you’ll spend on it for years

You damn sure should.
I have used mine a ton every year between April-October.
You can have other adults over to day drink and swim.
Kids love it.
You get to see other women/moms in bathing suits that come over
