It's a thing in Germany. I was stationed over there and it was awesome. Leave your empties at the door and come home to a fresh rack. I've often wondered why that hasn't taken off here. Probably red tape.

It is in Dallas. It just costs like nearly double to get a case.

Have a friend in Lafayette who keeps a draft tap in his garage. The local Bud distributor would come out whenever he called to swap out the kegs.

They have beer/alcohol delivery in California. My brother has it in Chicago as well.

If you attempted such a thing in most areas, especially Louisiana (outside of New Orleans), you and your business would have the swat team on you so fast your head would spin. I imagine you'd have to pay off a lot of politicians for this to work everywhere.

Buddy in Denver said there's one but when you factor in the delivery fee and tip it's definitely not worth it

I didn't do a good job of conveying sarcasm.

Depends on how bad you want it. Chelsea Handler told a story in an interview about how they got to drinking at her place one night and ran out of smokes. Called some delivery service, but it was out of the area they served at that time of night. She said, "I will give you $500 if you bring me two packs of Capri cigarettes right now." She got the smokes, and everybody was happy.

I am sure there are some archaic laws from prohibition that keep it from happening. Probably the same folks that say you can't buy alcohol before noon on Sundays and we have to ID every person, even those that are clearly senior citizens.
