Logically speaking, a tribal society can spiral out of control through retribution.

Tribe A steals a little something from Tribe B, Tribe B retaliates by stealing a goat or lamb, Tribe A kills a flock or a member of Tribe B. Then you have Tribe A and Tribe B fighting their way through a feud and causing chaos.

This seems like something man would’ve been far more concerned with than a messiah who teaches material possessions don’t matter at all.

Just doesn’t make a lot of sense to say material possessions shouldn’t matter at all, and then say one of the worst things you can do is take someone else’s material possessions.

Incredibly simple minded assessment here

Does it really matter? just become a catholic and go to confession. It erases everything.

Let me introduce you to every politician who ever has or will exist! Everyone else's stuff is for the politicians to use, just leave their stuff alone, by law!

So in summary, Hell is full of politicians for this 1/10 alone.

Well, stealing typically stems from greed and envy. Not the best way to live your life.

Because it eventually leads to "Thou shalt not kill"

Just backing it up one step, for safety and all

If everyone started following the 10 commandments right now the country a lot of people’s jobs would become endangered. Especially law enforcement
