South LA is a world and culture of it's own it's unique & noticeably different, while North LA is just like many southern states and blends in with the South and doesn't stand out.

It's easy to point fingers, laugh and shite on anything on a message board when you wouldn't do it in a face to face setting.

Uh, S. La folks do this to people from N. La face to face all the time. I lived in Lafayette and was told often that I wasn't from La. and it didn't count because it was N. La. They did it a lot!

It certainly doesn’t make the people better but it gets to their head and they THINK they’re better when they most definitely are not.

Anecdotal…but the folks I know from Shreveport don’t come off as very nice people. Not sure if they have a chip on their shoulder or what. I’ve met great people from the rest of the traditional south. Despite being culturally similar to Mississippi or Arkansas, Shreveport isn’t nearly as friendly.

Most people I know from south Louisiana are very nice, friendly, and generally personable. Especially those from Acadiana. Way different culture though.

You can say that about anywhere with a small
Sample size. You can definitely say that about Acadiana too if you’re not from there. I know several people & their Fams are nice, but some aren’t the most welcoming people.
SHV/Bossier has a very diverse population due to Barksdale AFB…people from all over the country live here, many are my neighbors who really like it & want to raise Fam here.

I've divided my 52 years almost equally between NELA, Laffy and New Orleans. Wife and in-laws are from Laffy. Great folks there. Law school and career were built in Nola. Will always have a soft spot. But I can unequivocally say that Tensas parish is the greatest place in the state of Louisiana, bar none. Those who know know.

Bc the state as whole, is insecure, and they should be.

So they put off their insecurities by shitting on others.

Being last in population is a good thing dude. Less dipshits to deal with. You get peace and quiet.
