Kind of on a similar note, I was in an OSHA training the other day. There was a black dude in the class sleeping, they wake him up, joke about it, continue to joke about it throughout the day. I answer an email on my phone and the instructor threatens to with hold my OSHA card from the training for not paying attention.... the double standard was ridiculous. I was pretty heated.

I’ll give another example for the op.
During peak covid I watched Joe Dirt on Comedy Central.
They bleeped out you like to see homos naked yet had a caricature of a coon arse in all his glory. So it’s cool to make fun of Cajuns, but you can’t make a gay joke.
That character in Joe Dirt would be deemed racist and harping back to minstrel shows if it was a black character.
