There was a guy in the Old Testament that was killed by God for pulling out.

I'm not making that up.

Why try and reach new members of your church when you can just breed/birth them?

That's not true at all. It's because BC is not using sex for procreation. Has nothing to do with abortion.

I'm genuinely not sure why this is allowed but BC isn't. You're having sex and trying not to have a kid. Logically they seem indifferent.

I actually forgot about this until I saw someone else mention it and I think that's part of the whole family planning... But the thing is, how many people who do family planning are fricking just when they want a kid? It seems like people are fricking and because they do family planning, they have another kid.. I know there is more to it, the woman keeps track of her cycle and if they don't want anymore kids they don't frick when she is fertile, etc, etc.. But that seems like something that sounds good "in theory".

Find this part in the bible.

If this is true, it's not one of the more popular stories from the bible right? Because I never heard that.

Less money in the plate from future generations.
Catholics can't have fun, as it must be a sin if its fun. Pulling out is the only way for a catholic and that's not near as fun as the alternative.

Not necessarily, you do NFP knowing that intercourse could yield human life and have accepted that. Birth control is a human-invented way to prevent pregnancy. You don’t use anything artificial with NFP. I get your point though.

Family planning blocks you from having kids the same way a pill does. I brought this up to a priest at our prewedding retreat and he couldn't give me an answer as to how those were different other than it was "natural" and the pill was pharmaceutical.

I argued that sins are committed in the heart. Both avenues intentionally block the egg from being fertilized. He had no answer. I've still never heard any decent answer to my argument.

Not know what? Why it's considered a sin? Well, when I read what someone posted about how people are supposed to only have sex to reproduce I remembered.. But I actually forgot that part of it... Seriously, that's how unrealistic it is.

Yeah, NFP is a form of birth control when it's used to avoid pregnancy, IMO. Just like human-invented birth control but not as good.

Yes, but Humanae Vitae specifically calls out some forms of birth control as abortion, and abortion is the tip top of church taboos. Specifically where an embyro is created, but has nowhere to implant sue to birth control.

Tell your black friend(why Chris?) to consult another priest. Vasectomy is not so frowned anymore.

Everytime I think of dolphins, I think of this story.

Archdiocese does not cover any sort of birth control in their health insurance packages.
