It is a division topic and is used to further the wedge between right and left in order to do the real bad stuff behind the scenes that destroy our country.

It's one of the many levers they can pull at any time in the Fear or Division categories at any time to rile up the rabble.

Fear: Immigration, Terror Threat Levels, Climate Apocalypse, Chinaviruses, etc

Division: BLM, Police brutality, LGBT issues, Abortion, systemic racism, etc

They're always pulling one or more of these levers.

Because the ones crying believe it’s a form of contraceptive or a back up plan if they don’t wanna ruin their life by not accepting responsibilities for their actions when their legs go open. That’s why

Not at all. Are you getting an abortion and can't or something?

Maybe try to figure out what causes that.
The first thing I need to figure out is why "small government" conservatives are convinced that the state should be involved in family life at all.

That logic might hold if pregnancy was contagious.

Is this implying the Dems are the current gatekeepers?

Most of the left pushed for me to not participate in society because I didnt get the covid vaccine. Hell, we had posters on this site saying I shouldnt be allowed care at a hospital because I wasnt vaccinated.

not seeing a lot of sentiment (here) that the state should, but simply that it's a better alternative than it being Federal.

I see this one applied to the catholic church all the time. I have my own axe to grind with them but folks forget Catholics have hospitals, adoption agencies, food drives, women's shelters, and rehab centers.

It’s state sanctioned murder that forces people who do not agree with it to financially support it via taxes.
Hang on, you think banning abortion will result in less taxes?

We're about to flood the system with unwanted children that we have to care for, or else all of us will be murderers.

And with the cost of child care, a single woman who might have been able to support herself on limited wages will now very possibly earn net negative money by working. So instead of a productive member of society, we will have to support her and her baby.

States governments should be making these decisions not the federal government.

We now have a lot MORE unwanted babies coming into our world

The solution to that should not be killing more babies.

The left has a lot of stupid ideas and assumptions, this is one of them.

THe idea the conservatives and/or christians don't care about children after birth is just another liberal dog whistle.

But I understand how a group of people would expect other people to be forced to take on the responsibility of caring for the results of their irresponsible actions or otherwise getting rid of the unwanted consequences of those irresponsible actions (i.e. killing babies) when that group of people have been taught their entire lives for generation that they have no obligation, moral or otherwise for the decision they make in life.

No, it implies that Roe gave us as individuals a bit of privacy and freedom.

So why now do you support the state having the power to tell us what we can or cannot do?
