Opiates at least to some extent would have to be part of the equation.

I probably know 10 people from HS that have OD'd on drugs in the past 15-20 years.

People that live a healthy lifestyle are living longer. People that are morbidly obese or using opioids are dying much younger and bringing the average down.

2020 saw twice as large of a drop as 2021, and there weren’t vaccines for the gen pop in 2020….

It’s pretty clear covid is the biggest indicator here. We have been fat for years. It didn’t start in 2020…..

Exactly, man!

And this demographic makes horrible decisions. If you get in to medicine or law you can mine this demographic for what little income they have.

Live longer with more cash.

My bad, but to be fair, most people can walk. I am fortunate to have pretty good genes when it comes to weight and I eat small portions as well as do some exercising so if you all of a sudden couldn't walk I could help you keep the L-Bs off.

If you mean drug abuse and suicides caused by shutdowns then yeah. Average Covid death is older than the life expectancy. Average death age is around 80.

The answer to the question is Covid caused young people to turn to destructive habits out of loneliness and boredom.

This is why you don't let a few doctors decide policy.
