I know several Muslims that I like but much of their culture is incompatible with Western values. If they don't plan on assimilating then I don't want them here.

you'd be surprised how many are still raised with that lesson. Of course, when I was growing up I was cutting our grass when I was about 7 or 8 and having to do work to get any money from my parents. The same thing happening now and the kids would be taken away for child abuse.

Remove the ridiculous amount of money the US spends in Europe (military and otherwise) and see how nice their lives are when they have to pay even more taxes to cover the expenses Daddy used to cover.

No place offers opportunity, natural geography that we have here. Canada comes close, but it's still not there.
Most people I know who suffered European envy and moved there ended up back in the States.
We have the most diverse cultures, most diverse landscapes, most opportunity for professional and self fulfillment....
Nothing else comes close.
The only country I would think about would be Switzerland, and possibly Canada if it were Northern BC or the Yukon. Eastern Canada sucks.
