Why doesn't the IT department ever wear business casual?

You should see the state's IT dept. I think they have a minimum weight limit of about 350.

I wear a polo and slacks pulled up to my nipples.

I look like a fat, white, Urkel.

I hate business casual.

Probably because they have to crawl around on the floor to plug in the monitor you unplugged, but swear just stopped working.

I ran my own company until I retired last April. My people never had a dress code. So long as the job got done it should make no difference if they wore jeans or business casual.
Before you ask, 11 offices across the country and 412 associates.
