I’ll take the bait as I unfortunately interact with the city a good bit and need to vent.

I was optimistic when she came on the scene, she seemed committed to cleaning up the mess at city hall which is long overdue.


However, all she has done is fire corrupt individuals who were almost competent and replace them with corrupt individuals who are completely incompetent. On top of that subcontractors for the city cannot get paid for any work that’s been done.

Now she’s holding the city hostage for federal funding to pay for her frickups and is flat out lying to residents.

She’s a disaster in every sense of the word and I’m ashamed I thought she would be decent. I know multiple people who voted for her who absolutely will not again.

1) She ran up $22,000 in charges on city credit card for non related expenses and only paid it back when she was caught. 2) She owes $90,000 in back taxes to the IRS yet wants to levy increasing taxes on everyone and everything. So she's a hypocrite. 3) Crime is back out of control (Murders) and she has done and said nothing to address it. 4) She has no accountability and every time in her council and mayoral career she's been asked a legitimate question she has either berated the person asking it, refused to answer it, or began repeating condescending absurdities at the camera i.e. "Phase 2!!". 5) She operates with a low self esteem which creates an ignorant obstinance about her and causes her to be veangeful and punitive to anyone, any business, or any entity that dares question her. 6) She has done nothing to address the pumps or flooding situation in the city. 7) Instead of being a leader and trying to make the best of a bad situation ie the budget she has instead decided to exacerbate a city budgetary issue into a populace crippling and business crippling financial issue. Basically instead of tackling the city's finances she has taken the approach of spreading the city's poor financial state into the population creating financial hardships for people personally and for businesses as a means to beg for money from the federal government to cure her ills. The city government has a problem so instead of tackling that singular issue i'm going to spread the problem like cancer into every facet of the city so everyone is screwed . 8) I know several people who deal with her regularly who think she is the most insane, racist, demagogue they have ever dealt with in their lives and are panicking because they think she is unreachable on any level. 9) She is single handedly running the Saints out of New Orleans who as an organization do so much more for this area than just play football. She won't even return their calls and instead talks to them through the media at her own leisure. 10) A month ago she openly said after the governor okd fans at Saints games she wouldn't consider it until she got her fair share of the Cares Act money. Go look the Press Conference up, it was said. 11) I know Mark Hughes who had the meeting with her a month ago where she flat out told him she didn't care what happens to businesses she only cares about Covid. What he didn't say was when his brother asked her what happens if the Federal Government doesn't bail you out her response to him and I quote, "It sounds to me like you need to go take a Civics class.". I could go on and on, her handling of Mardi Gras and forcing Endymion to hire JP officers. Canceling parades, trying to turn the French Quarter into Disney World while at the same time doing nothing about it's current state bc she wants it to completely fall apart so her "group" can come in and steal the real estate which they have been doing. The fact she's using the advice of Avegno who has a Masters in Sociology, is an ER doctor and has absolutely no qualifications to head the response to a pandemic other than having DR. in front of her name. Unless you live and own a business in New Orleans and are from here it's hard to accurately convey just how horrendous the situation is right now. I have more fear the city will die from this woman than Katrina. Sorry for the long post but my hatred for this woman knows no bounds.

So what positives has da destroya done?
