Look at the list of stores there though on the website...those are commonplace shopping center stores. Stores you see at any shopping center located off a freeway all over the US(never heard of Dress Barn though...is that a fattie store? sounds like it)
Not a single high end store there. Part of having higher end looking shopping areas is actually having the stores that go with them.

They have to lease to clients who will have customers
All stereotypes aside, but LP doesn't have the concentration of high class shoppers that can support these boutique type stores

Dress Barn has all sizes, but it's not high-end dresses (I think most were $50-$75, with little over $100). My 70 y.o. mom liked to shop there and that may give you an idea on their clientele. 
I went out to Juban Crossing recently. Right now it has the same feeling as the Siegen Lane shopping area where Lowe's, Sam's, Old Navy etc are located, but with roundabouts that half the idiots in the parking lot can't navigate correctly.

Understandable. I would shop at many of the stores on that list as well. However...when I hit up the Ross or Petsmart or Ulta by my house I don't expect it to be in some beautiful high end looking complex. I know it's gonna be in a regular looking shopping center.
This is one of the nicest shopping complexes in Scottsdale (The Quarter)
I don't go here expecting to hit up a Petsmart or Academy or Ross cause I know those type of stores will not be there.
Just saying, people can't get upset that this shopping area isn't looking as "nice" as they had hoped.

In their defense, those are some shitty roundabouts and are a little confusing, not to mention the striping barely shows up

I much prefer function over form
Adequate parking and stores that I have a use for trumps green space, walking trails and palm trees

Yeah I just checked their website. On their website they even say "yes that's the name of our store, deal with it"

They are about to build several roundabouts in walker and Denham springs

Women that love to shop love both. They want the shopping center of the stores they actually shop at on a regular basis and then the really nice shopping areas they like to stroll though as a treat to themselves to window shop and maybe pick up something at one of the shops.Posted on 10/22/15 at 2:36 pm to lsunurse

Not to hijack, but roundabouts work well, but not when they're spaced at 200 ft intervals.

There are parts of this country that really put Louisiana to shame. Some places like to keep nice green spaces, manicured lawns and bushes, and have the store fronts up to a certain architecture code. It's nice and appealing.
I might be one of the simpletons that fall for appearance over function, but I'm not one to just spend my money at a high end retail place because it looks nice. You put an Old Navy in a nice place I'm going spend the same amount there as I would if I was at the one in Cortana.

I hear ya. I'm the same way. Just saying I will be more likely to kill a weekend afternoon strolling around The Quarter looking at stores I likely won't buy anything in. When I go to a basic shopping center I'm mainly gonna just go to the store I needed to go to with a reason to go. Some of those higher end shopping areas are solely designed to make it more inviting to walk around in hopes that you stay longer and shop more there.

I love how in the artist renditions they have people walking around looking at stuff. Yes come walk around this 1,000 acre blacktop parking lot in 95 degree heat with the majestic view of I-12 and barren grass lots, along with the whimsical sound of eighteen wheeler jake brakes.
