Dasani is owned by Coca Cola, so I'm out. We did a blind taste test a few years ago, and the vast majority picked Evian, including me, but I don't think it is worth the extra cost.

Even if it wasn’t owned by Coca Cola, it’s the crap that McDonald’s serves if you order bottled water.

And who would want that if they have a choice?

I don't buy it because 1. Paying for bottled water is a waste of money. 2. Desani is made by Coca cola and I am boycotting them upon the request of my President.

This is not meant for you diddlydawg:

I hate when idiots say Twitter is what's ruining the world. Some people on twitter might be causing problems, but you can stop following idiots that get you rilled up. I don't get why people keep following anyone who's posts annoy them. Sure as heck don't get quitting the site to keep from having to read something I don't want to read.

It tastes like it was bottled from a New Orleans tap.

I sold Dasani since it hit the market. It has minerals added to it at bottling.

Basically it is tap water like most other brands like Aquafina and DeJa Blue filter twice.

I always had an issue trying to present it as a premium water brand.

Other than that, it's just water like other brands..

If I see this bottle in a gas station, I buy at least 2 bottles. They're hard to find though around SC.

A few years back a coworker came into town for a meet n greet with a client. The first step off the tarmac he’s asking about Fiji water. I’d never heard about it. We went from the airport to the clients office. He kept stressing he’d wished he had brought a bottle and was raving about the taste and that he wouldn’t drink any other water. After the 2 hour client meeting he begged me to stop. He bought me a bottle and I’m not going to lie, I was intrigued because of the build up. Cracked it open and took a big ol swig….yep, water…plain ol f’ing water.

When I was a kid, I drank out the hose pipe for free. That tasted just as good as the $3 Fiji.

Dasani has salt in it. Why water should have anything other than water is insane, but they do it to make you drink more of it.

It’s not Brawndo. Freshwater has mineral salts. Many bottled water companies add a proprietary blend for flavor.

Of course it is. Just like all the other regular waters. Yet some people will swear up and down it's shite and taste like garbage bc they saw a meme about it once and feel like they're in the cool club for repeating it.

Bottled water outside of disaster rationing is wasteful and an unnecessarily expense.

You have to admit, Dasani (and Aquafina, PepsiCo’s equivalent product) is a brilliant scam.

I would love to be the guy who came up with that idea in a marketing meeting.

“I’ve got an idea: lets sell the stuff we use to make our carmel-colored sugared-up crap, only before we add anything to it - and we’ll sell it for the same price!”
