I don't go because I hate being hot and I hate sand.

Thanks for providing your preferences. I will provide mine to reciprocate.

I love the sand and water. I don't mind being hot. I love lounging on the beach drinking beer, enjoying the views.

Enjoy your time up north.

My thing about the sand is I just hate the texture and hate cleaning it out of everything. I hate getting it out of my toddler's hair.

Also last time I went my toddler found some animal doo doo in the sand and added it to her sand castle haha.

sounds like you just dont like dealing with the sand when it comes to kids and i get that. can be a pain in the arse and can make it not nearly as enjoyable.

That plus I'm a cloud architect so I spend most of my day in the air conditioning. I'll admit I dont have the tolerence for heat anymore.

My wife (no pics) weighs 100 pounds and doesnt have a drop of fat on her....and being in the AC a lot has made her a lot less heat tolerant.

You baws that love it have fun, but theres way better options than going to the Redneck Riviera every Summer.

Put me on the beach next to Mrs. Vader with a comfortable chair, an umbrella to sit under, a cooler of ice cold drinks next to me, and a good book to read, and I’m in heaven. I’ll sit there in the shade relaxing with a drink and my book. When I get hot, I’ll go cool off in the ocean for a bit then come sit back down and dry off. I can do that all day long and be perfectly happy.

down here the water gets warmer and there is a breeze.

Why go to the beach when the water is too cold?

This was my strategy last few times...but Im one that gets burned out quickly doing the same thing over and over again. Most people are more content than I am.

Why would I pay thousands to go sit in the AC somewhere else?

Another thing is I just hate doing the same trendy shite that every other middle class redneck family from North MS is doing. I go on vacation to get away from those people....not go join them.

Anakin described sand best.
“I don’t like sand. It’s coarse, and rough, and irritating and it gets everywhere.”

Fall after Labor Day is the ticket. Still warm, but not oppressive, less traffic, lower rates, better restaurant service.

Far more enjoyable.

One time I had to lose muscle mass to make weight when I was in the military and got down to 195- 200. I was too skinny. Face sunk in and I looked poor.

Healthy weight for me is 215-220.

So that we can look at the women's boobs and butts in bikinis. Duh.

Not that you'd realize that, since you're probably gay.

That is one great perk of being at the beach...but I have also gotten bitched at by my drunk wife a few times for gawking a little too much at some arse while at the beach.
