And the amount of people watching network tv shows relative to the number of people consuming all media is incredibly small, yet that doesn't stop this thread about brainwashing from happening every week.
Shows like this is us and modern family and garbage like that average like 1% of the population as their audience.
The most popular non sports show in the last decade peaked at like 7.5% of the country watching.
So 95% of people don’t watch network television shows (and of the 5% who do, even less watch the commercials) yet people continue to bitch and moan about getting gay shoved down their throats.
Shows like this is us and modern family and garbage like that average like 1% of the population as their audience.

They can. I guess the only thing different about my take on it is that the unhappiness is very real. If you've got a society where (for whatever reason) place-in-the-world and relative affluence aren't the messages that are getting out to people, they're not going to just wake up. And I'm not sure what the answer to that message problem is, but it's a huge problem, just like any plague or depression.

The interracial couple in EVERY commercial doesn't bother me near as much as slipping black characters into historical situations ignoring actual history. Disney has a black wife in the new Lady and the Tramp and plays if off like that is perfectly normal. Granted she is hot, but that would have NEVER happened during that time period. Aggravates the hell out of me. I guess we will soon have black Napoleon, black Julius Ceasar, black Lincoln, etc.

It started when women stopped being housewives and started entering the work force.
Men used to run marketing agencies and now it’s a lot of women who do advertising and they think that shite is cute and politically correct.
It’s why commercials are rarely funny anymore too.
Women aren’t funny or clever usually.

Marriage being depicted fits your narrative. How are you tired of interracial marriage being shoved down your throat but somehow aren’t a racist. How is a fictional interracial marriage being depicted any different than 2 white people of 2 black people etc? You do realize how common interracial marriage is now? If that is something you really have a problem with I hate to break it to you but you are absolutely fairly racist.
