Why do women say “I’m about to run to the store”

Or “I’m about to go walking” or “I’m about to........” and you get a brief glimmer of hope for an hour or so of free time and 30 minutes later she’s sitting there still talking.

Give her your credit card and I bet she’ll leave you alone all day. 
If you have an OT credit score that is.
And one last thought...if she went walking more than 30 min, she’s probably not walking and screwing the guy that does not mind listening to her for 30 min.

Talking?
My wife isn’t even talking. She starts getting ready to go and then somehow doesn’t leave. She’s just...around. I don’t know what she’s doing or why it takes so long. But she doesn’t leave. And she’s doing something. But I’m not sure what.
Edit - or how about just getting out of a car? What do they do that takes them so long to leave a vehicle after parking?

I don't understand it either. When she gets up to go to work she can be up and out but for anything else it's a three hour process. But what bugs me worse is anytime we go somewhere together she can't just get out of the car when we get there. It's ten minutes of making sure she has things, moving shite around, and I don't even know what else because I'm already standing outside the car ready to go.

Testing your patience. Everything they do is a rest.
My gf intentionally walks slow to see if I’ll slow down and walk with her. To the point it’s actually uncomfortable to walk that slow because it’s not a natural pace
