Wouldn't we fix a ton of highway & interstate traffic issues if drivers had to abide by speed settings instead of limits?

Can it be set to 8 mph over for people with safe driving records?

I think you’re mixing up Kitchen Aides and Cars.

Common mistake.

I’m assuming he means you have to drive a precise speed, rather than there just being an upper limit.

Like everyone has to drive 65

The Minimum & Limit signs leave far too much room for problems on the road.

If the rule was Speed Setting 70 mph instead of Speed Limit people wouldn't be cruising at slower speeds that cause drivers to have to change lanes & make dangerous maneuvers to get around 18 wheelers or grandmas.

I'm hopeful that'll come in my lifetime but I don't think it will.

You're likely the problem driver I'm trying to fix or keep off of the road all together.

So you want granny driving a speed that she's not comfortable driving?

Sounds like a cop's dream.

They Already peg people right on the boundary of a lower speed limit to catch drivers who don't decelerate fast enough.

Now they can literally get every person ever if they want.
