True. Too many fat moms who think driving an SUV will make them look like cool BASE jumping badass women. Bc who isn’t impressed by a SUV. They’re so rare.

In my defense, I meant I have been driving pickups for a while now. And there was more to that statement.

But still

I think the previous 90s had bad reliability issues. I think they've overcome that with the new version (2015 or 2016 and newer).

I really thought this was going to be about cool shoes.

Anyone one have experience with the Jaguar F-Pace?

Think that’s what my wife wants and I know nothing about them

We looked at them. The wife preferred the design and materials of XC60 interior and the trick safety features. The handling of the F was a bit better, but she held that in low regard since it was nowhere near that of her 5 series she was leaving.

They're very similar, so drive them both.

SUVs are just glorified mini vans these days.

Never thought I’d own a van, but even with just 2 small kids, I would never trade my Chrysler Pacifica for anything. Captains chairs, stow and go seating (easy as hell to drop the seats and raise them), the storage space, the entertainment system, handles like a car, has 4000 safety features, sliding doors automated by waving your foot (in a parking lot with some jackass right beside you, holding a sleeping 3 year old trying to get into the van is amazing with these things) AND a nice little place to take a quick nap when shits crazy inside the house

All this talk of Vas brings back memories. In 1983, I took my drivers test in my dads 1978 custom Chevy Van. I parallel parked that bitch and all.

Looked almost exactly like this

4 Captains chairs, couch in the back that converted to a bed. All carpeted. Sink and small fridge as well.

Yup, my sister bought one. Spends more time at the Jaguar service department than her house. Very disappointed with her purchase.

Vans are way more efficient than SUVs when it comes to transporting a family.

Because they had zero arch support, or support for your feet. Sure, you could get them in any color, and were good for riding a skate board, but they were horrendous actual shoes to wear, almost as bad as wrasslin shoes.

Once you outfit that Porsche it's going to be $100k. Obviously you can start them up there, but a $77k S model is 100k outfitted. The turbo would be well, up there. Porsche has so many damn options its mind boggling. Literally, anything you can think of.

Getting a G wagon and keeping it as a hunting rig once she's done with it is an option at that point.

Aren't you getting a 911? Both of y'all can't drive Porsches...I mean you can, but it'd be cooler to have something else.

We’re not really going out on a limb in calling the redesigned 2018 Honda Odyssey the best family car the world has ever seen. Frankly, it’s a declaration about as bold as just staring at the tree from a safe distance while seated in a sturdy lawn chair.

American-market minivans are already the most accommodating, most family-focused people movers on the planet, and even in its seventh model year the outgoing Odyssey remains a top pick.

But this new one is almost something else entirely. It drives like a smaller vehicle, and with buttery smoothness. It’s quieter and more nicely appointed inside. And overall practicality has been taken to another level with a long list of clever new features and tech.

Not only is it packed with refinement and innovation, we’ve yet to identify any meaningful weaknesses. Granted we’ve only driven the top-line Odyssey Elite trim, and only on some of the most pleasant roads Hawaii’s Big Island has to offer, but any relative shortcomings that remain to be uncovered with extended exposure are likely to be accompanied by still more pleasant surprises.
