Why do the boy scouts sell popcorn?

Young boys selling a little jerky is illegal.

I don't know, I was kicked out for eating a brownie before I learned anything.

I guess I mistyped. I do not like popcorn in general so if you like popcorn the scout stuff may be fine.

I like popcorn but those things get stuck in my teeth and I regret eating it every time.

boy scouts used to be a really shitty organization only concerned with paying their main office. My dad was a boy scout troop leader 25 years ago. About 7 or 8 local businesses got together and donated several hundred bucks for tents for the local troop and some other camping supplies. They gave it to the local boy scout office about 15 miles away and my dad's troop never saw a dime of it despite the group explicitly telling them what it was for.
