How do you end up choosing one over the other? Do you price them both then select the lowest amount?

My husband has the Uber app and I have the Lyft app. I feel like one of us almost always has 10% off rides, so we use who ever has a discount.

I have 47 trips and am still at 5.0 stars. Amazing to me since there are 3 of those trips i have no recollection of.

I once had an older man in Ford pick up truck from Houma that drives into the city just to Uber for a night then rolls out. He usually picks up at the airport on his way in and makes a drop off at the airport on his way out of town.

Ive had drivers in bigger cities tell me, they have 9-5 jobs during the week and pick someone up on their way to work every day, as well as the way home. One guy told me he makes an extra $40-$50 per weekday doing this on his commute.

I cant even count how many times I've looked at my trip from the night before just to remind myself where I was and how I got home...

I like chit chatting with the drivers and get to know a little bit about them.
I don't mind this sometimes, but most of the time they won't shut up when i'm clearly not interested in talking

Yeah sometimes you gotta just tell them to STFU, guess that’s probably why I’m at 4.91 and you’re at 5.0

Taking a cab is more trashy than taking an Uber or Lyft

is it?

the amount of times I've been picked up by Shaquiesha in a dusty looking kia forte which smells like cheap perfume is getting too high for my liking

Then select a nicer vehicle. I have never been in a nice cab.

I don't know why people don't use it.

If it were feasible I would never drive again.

You can absolutely pay more for a nicer vehicle or cancel a ride that you don't want and select another.

I've only been picked up in one beater by Uber. Dude had about a 15 year old Durango with a check engine light on and claimed he was from BR but didn't know where the Varsity or Chimes Street was
