We did it because it was fun. Used to shoot the shite out of them driving down the road and would sometimes get out and unload a whole mag into them.

We did get caught and that was not fun.

When I was in HS, there was a sign down the street from my house that said anyone caught trespassin' would be shot on sight.

I pondered it for years, frustrated at the whole meaning behind that wretched piece of metal, until one night, I jumped on the fence and yelled at the house "Hey, what gives you the right? To put up a fence to keep me out or, to keep mother nature in?"

I honestly felt like if God had been there himself, He'd tell tell those people to their face, "Man, you're some kinda sinner"

So, people shoot at signs for different reasons, but to me they were never useful for anything more than blockin' out the scenery, and breakin' my mind.

It's always "Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign"

That's just me though.

I used to sell solar pumps to the shale gas companies and the wells are often in remote areas. You should see what they do to solar panels. We used to joke about coming up with a "Bubba Proof" solar panel...

Go on hwy 20 between Schriever and donner. So many bullet holes. I would not go on there at night.

For security purposes.

Signs with holes are stolen less frequently that new signs.

They are also rendered useless as jambalaya pot lids as the hole will allow the rice to get sticky and slimy.
