For sand quality, water quality, comfort(no rocks), room(size of sand beach), the Destin beaches is absolutely top of the list

I’m not, I’m disputing the fact that 30a is the “best beaches in the world” because they are, in fact, not the best in the world.

LOL. No way. It much better.

I guess I don't really go out in the gulf far enough to be able to tell a difference, but the water clarity is at least 10 ft or so.

In Hawaii I did take a kayak out and could probably see 20-30 ft.

The beaches in Florida have a timeless, nostalgic feeling that stays with you forever, especially if you grew up going on vacations to visit a grandparent every summer. It’s hard to describe.

Dude tell us all these beaches better. Go on

Those beautiful beaches on the Med? Rocks everywhere and the sand usually is almost painful to walk bare foot on

Those Oceania beaches you love? Massive waves and often jelly fish that make it impossible to be in water without wetsuit

Want me to go on as someone who has actually been there?

how? the water in hawaii is usually muddier close to the beach do to the type of sand or you have rocky bottom that isnt great to swim in or you got insane waves where you cant do crap

now if you go out off the island kayaking or something.....sure, but to actually swim in...no....not on maui or the places on Oahu i went. I went all over maui and yea...water is not better imo.

You could take a picture of Florida panhandle beaches at 5AM and they would be empty and pristine.

You could take a picture of Waikiki at noon on a Saturday and it would be packed.

The Florida panhandle has some of the most beautiful beaches on the planet. You’re just not well traveled enough to realize it.

are they more unique sure...but not nearly fun to be on because rocks everywhere, huge waves, or muddy water etc.

My Dad said the same thing and he spent 18 months on a government-sponsored trip to the South Pacific between 1943 and 1945. He saw lots of beaches.

Which beaches did you see muddy water? Maybe I’ve been lucky but I’ve yet to see any on Maui and I’ve visited several times and I’ve been to a lot of beaches.

The beaches themselves are fine. It’s certainly not fricking Galveston.

But they’re packed, typically by trashy frickers that think you need to bring a weeks worth of shite for a 4 year old to be on the bench for 3 hours. The water can get hot as ball and be full of seaweed. And to cap it off, it costs more than going to a more remote destination where you don’t have to deal with that shite.

I’ve been all over, the beach itself in Florida is better than, say, the Dominican. The sand is relatively the same, but the water isn’t as good and there was a lot of seaweed last time I went. But there were a hell of a lot less people, and the people that were there didn’t think the definition of a good time is smashing 20 Michelobes listening to Brantley Gilbert
