I can literally look at 1000s of photos of bondi beadh. It’s a golden sand
I looked at it with my 2 eyes, it’s not sugar white, but it’s nowhere near as golden as those photos make it appear.

30a is a sugar sand
I know, I’ve been there too. Probably 40 or 50 times

atlantic, mexico and pacific...sand...yea no comparison.
I find the sand in Cabo is fine. Water can be rough, but when it’s not it’s a great beach too

Yes, one side of the beach is typically extremely calm. I did open water swimming there. The other side is pretty rough but is great surfing
that is kind of how maui was to me. alot of the Bays were great but 100% were not as clear as I expected but they were calm...other areas...holy shite...great wind surfing though.
waikiki was cool just from historical perspective to me. it was the beach i grew up thinking was the best in the world, the one i saw on tv so i enjoyed it and had amazing company there too. and it was really cool how it was tucked in like that...i dunno i just like it. rest of Oahu and specifically honolulu....hell no.
maui is beautiful and i encourage anyone to go that can afford it. but dont go and sit at the resort. go see everything. go on the trail, go see the sunrise on the volcano, go eat at the amazing places, go walk the towns
but i am a sucker for 30a not gonna lie.

I hate beach vacations because I hate people when on vacation
By far my favorite beaches are NZ because you can hike a mountain and pick your own private black sand beach for an entire day
Most scenic was south France but the rock sand legit hurt to walk on

I have been to more beaches around the world then you ever will in your life
For sand quality, water quality, comfort(no rocks), room(size of sand beach), the Destin beaches is absolutely top of the list
this is exactly what i was trying to say. Granted i havent been to some of the ones he brings up...but in the western hemisphere at least....the florida gulf coast beaches are way way way the frick up there when just talking actual beach.

Water and weather is too hot in Florida. Cabo stays pretty temperate and the water is cool but once you get in it’s perfect, which is how I prefer it.
Cabo is by far my favorite beach destination that is practical from the US.
I also have no interest in most of the activities on the gulf coast. Food is generally overrated, golf is decent at best, tons of trashy people with kids. Etc.
Fishing is pretty good though

Note I took the photos myself
that is not what the beaches on 30a look like. I said 30a, im talking the small private beaches. not fricking monster resorts in orange beach and destin
the 30a beaches are not even 1 deep.

Crazy packed with people
thank you, these people go to the huge arse resorts with 3k people in them and then complain about the beach being packed.
i stand by my statement, the beaches along 30a are amazing. if i could retire one place, that would be it. to each their own

have you actually been to 30a because thats not really the case. kids...sure...trashy...absolutely fricking not.
you do understand....trashy people certainly are not affording alys beach or rosemary or even really seaside
and 30a is not crowded because its not big resort/condo buildings
i can understand the heat...i like it hot and dont mind it at all. i have kids so im gonna wanna do stuff on the sand like throw a ball etc. I actually like being around my kids though unlike some people

I have a house in Pensacola. Favorite time to be there is February through early May or September - October.
Otherwise, just driving upstate NY to a mountain lake is so much better than Florida summer.

Florida is too hot and crowded for me but aside from weather/beaches, it has a lot of upside economically.
I personally would prefer states like Wyoming/Idaho or Tennessee/North Carolina.

pretty much most of the beaches in maalaea bay were from the east end all the way west until you get to actual maalaea beach.
I can’t say if I remember mud but that whole area has a rock shelf right off the beach so it’s not a place people hangout to swim anyway. Walk and look but that’s all it’s good for.

You're acting like 30A is Gulf Shores. Please stop

For me, it’s the fishing. I don’t care about any of the rest of it. The beach is just between me and the water. It’s hot as the surface of Mars.

all the Waldorf Astoria Resorts are in that bay.
this is what the actual beach looked like there
when we were there last april, water up close was muddy, not like river muddy but certainly not clear like the water in the Caribbean or even 30a. now if you paddled out in kayak 2-300 yards sure

It really is amazing. Why these fools continue to interact with that clown is beyond me.
