Vin etching means you can hate the stealership
No vin etching means you can’t hate the dealership

I am so old that I remember when they used to use metal tags that they would pop rivet onto the trunk lid.

You could always tell the baws that went to Earl Scheib.
They just painted right over those tags.

I actually like spotting a local dealership decal/emblem in the wild. Especially way outside its territory. Ay baw, what you doing in the flats with that Golden Motors car?
Or better yet, seeing them outside the state is like spotting someone with a LSU shirt abroad.

HubCity has gone crazy with the size of their badge.
I remove it, but can we agree it's better than when they would stamp the metal bumpers? Young uns may have to Google that.

I remember those days of dealer name in the bumper.
I guess I am too lazy to remove the dealer logo.

There was a Dealer that used to an abnormally large red sticker on the back of the vehicles they sold. I ended up buying a car from them and asked the salesguy if they could leave off the sticker. He told me it was their policy that all cars sold there would have the sticker in place. But when I got home, I noticed one corner was purposely left unattached and it peeled right off.
Funny thing was I was paying them an advertising fee and I do remember the stamped bumpers.

Anytime I get a car I tell them I'll refuse delivery unless their garbage is cleanly removed.

I left mine on bc I totally forgot about it until this thread. But now I’m kind of pissed about giving them free advertising. How dare they.

I have taken stickers off if it does not go with the color of car (black car with white dealership or something like that). I guess it used to bother me more when I was younger, I have a dealership decal on my truck and it's not the dealership I bought it from (bought used), I tried to take it off, but it's on there good, and not worth it for me.
To those who say the dealership owes you money, when was the last time you looked at a decal on a car/truck and said, "you know, I didn't know where to get that car, but now because of that ad on the back of a stranger's car, I now do, and I'm heading there."

I love how you call them stealerships then admit you bought from them. You sure showed them bro.

Only time I left anything from the dealership on was the Texas flag Classic BMW used to put on. Hated the car for the most part

I took a Robinson Bros sticker off after i bought an Edge long ago and the damn thing left sticky glue which took a few weeks to wear off.

Just bought the wife an X5 from them. She made them take it off before we left.
