Why do people find saying merry Christmas offensive?

Pisses me off when a see someone say happy holidays. 80% of those people actually celebrate Christmas and are chicken shite scared to piss off the PC police.

I say it to everyone, even if I´m pretty damned sure it´s not something which pertains to them.

It's BS. If you can't say marry Christmas don't participate in any of it.

Because the frickers are too cheap to have to buy gifts for anybody and they try to make everyone else as miserable as their asses are.

Or maybe they just want to say Happy Holidays because it's a a common greeting and finding a way to get pissed off at that is ridiculous

I have never once met somebody who got upset with me for saying merry christmas. Part of this may be because I live in Louisiana, but I also suspect that it is at least in part a myth created by paranoid fox news types to sow faux outrage which is a special kind of ironic, funny, and pathetic. Or I could be off base with that one.
