These things aren't the same.

One is a costume and the other is just nice attire to respect the occasion.

Ive never once heard an actual country boy say that hes a fan of garth brooks.

Then you don't know many country boys. Grew up in cattle, bailing hay and working the family farm. Still involved just not as much. Cousin who took over the farm and his daughters all were there and we all had a great time and sang along with every song.

Many many more farmers and country boys were there also that we know.

. That being said if you are going to Nola to see garth brooks for 500$ a ticket then how country can you be ?

Whoever paid $500 is just dumb. We bought tickets when they came on sale and every seat from front row to nosebleed was $97 fees included.

There were tickets being sold yesterday for under that.

Truth is your just talking iut your arse and don't know what your talking about but hey it's the internet, no accountability here

You have never seen people in jerseys at games?

Even more telling is the paint, helmets, etc. that you see at pro football games.

Check again. People do the same thing at most events.

Ever seen a cheese head?

How about some of the Saints in the stands?

At least the western fakes don't wear face paint.

AND who declared Brooks a country boy? He's a frickin city boy that sings. He has never in his life stepped in a pile of pig shite or picked up a bale of hay. His country attire is as fake as those in the crowd.

Because they are miserable people that must try their hardest to make others as miserable as them.

No one is allowed to have any fun unless it is ok with them.

The shuttiest people to be around, but they will assure you that they are happy and have so many friends. When in reality those friends don't actually want to be around their miserable asses but don't have the heart to tell them

Us too....they get in the way when running cattle through the chute. I wear lacrosse boots when working on the farm. Wear regular cowboy boots everywhere else.

We will be attending George Strait - Garth is such a little bitch. This morning I told my wife I guess garth played last night based on the facebook photos.

Let people have their fun.

I wear jeans and boots most of the time. My wife and I and friends usually wear Western hats when we go to country concerts because we're having fun. Try it sometime: F U N

My neighbor has 200 acres and probably 50 head of cattle. Dude runs everything with only his wife helping. No cowboy boots or hats in sight between them. They're definitely an outlier though.

Same, wear them more when we dress up nice. I'll wear mine when doing hay in the sun to keep the sun off my neck.

Have seen both multiple times, including garth last night.

George is the king no doubt but we enjoy the high energy show garth puts on. While Garth hasn't lived a cowboy life other than dressing as one, the dude has some solid cowboy songs, much to young, beaches of Cheyenne to name a couple.

Wait. So I shouldn’t dress like a leprechaun for a Celtic Women concert?

It was time in the fad cycle. I remember the country craze when Urban Cowboy was released. Now, it is Yellowstone.

I wore boots to a Charlie Crockett concert last week. Kinda warm for them but I knew I'd be sweating anyway dancing w my woman. No hat or anything silly like that.

Never considered going to a Garth Brooks concert. I would if someone gave me some tickets, why not. And I'm sure I'd wear boots.

You're just cool as shite and a lot better and superior than the majority of the peasants that attend concerts and such.

We went to the George Strait concert the last week of July. The concert was outside. I was amazed at all the people who had “dress the part”. It was hot and they were in pants, boots, long sleeve shirts and sweating to death.
