Only 2,000? I guess that means I have to create a new travel ball organization for next year

Hey I’m trying to fill the fundraiser calendar so little Britannee can go with her soccer team to a college showcase. Lots of D3 coaches will be there. Can I put you down for the 31st?

It amazes me that there are quite a few women that i know that will post their kids sports or cheer costs and several people will just pay for it.

I could put one up every day of the year and no one is paying for my kid to do their activities

Because they're too lazy to have a jambalaya or donut sale.

Trashy, they knew the cost before voluntarily joining. If you can’t pay don’t play.

Kids sports shouldn’t require traveling all over creation.

Total trash if the parent is asking. I once encountered a black kid selling candy bars outside of a grocery store. We have traveled so much , my memories coincide. He was so sincere and selling candy bars to go to a summer basketball camp. He was by himself and you could tell he wanted what he was selling. He was selling candy bars for a dollar. I gave him $20 and said keep the candy. That baw deserved every dollar.

America is special.

The worst is when these parents go around their small towns to all these locally owned small businesses (who are struggling to get by as it is) and harass the owners to donate/sponsor their kid.

Hey small business owner, give me $150 and become a silver level “sponsor” so my kid can play a sport, and I’ll give you a shout-out on my Facebook page. It might only get 3 likes (2 of the likes are from me and the trashy wife), but your donation/sponsorship will help pay for our tournament/vacation next month!

If you can’t afford to travel then don’t do it. It’s just that simple cuz.

It is bad. A friend owned a small business in a 2-school town, and he was constantly hit up by the sports teams, bands, etc. to buy ads in the yearbooks, sponsor the various teams, etc.

He said he agreed to one ad-buy per year from each school, and that was it, or he would have gone broke. It's almost worse to buy once, because they then see you as a potential sucker and come to you for every fundraiser/bumming program.
