I still haven't gotten a honeymoon. I don't even get married girl trips with my husband.

My wife went to the beach with a few of her friends a few years ago. She went because they wanted to go to the beach and I couldn't go at the time. I didn't care. I'm not a beach guy so I'm glad she got to go sit on the beach all day and do shite that I don't really want to do.

Sorry about your puffy nipples bro

To gossip about their husbands and get out of their mundane life.

Just to hangout really.

I think some women are bored more easily than men and need these trips to get away

My wife just came back today from a girl's trip with her sister and her friend.

I need to get home to inspect all of her panties before she washes them due to this thread.

this is why they all go together, so they all cheat and no one can cast the first stone.

women know women. they know theyre all catty bitches and will get found out eventually. its their solution to the mexican standoff of "how many poles can I ride without feeling like a whore"

there is also the reality that some of those single woman in the group really want to get a man, and they are probably salivating at some of the husbands. And they would blab.

So do the inscure men in here lock their wives up when there is a bachelorette party? Hate to say, if you think your woman will cheat on a beach trip, that means she is already sleeping with your best friend at home anyway.

If she is going to cheat, I'd rather it be with some random guy at the beach she'll never see again than Carl at the office.

These responses make me glad I have trust in my marriage

How miserable is your relationship if you cannot trust your spouse to...gasp...go on a trip without you

So delusion is the key to a non "miserable" relationship?

All relationships are miserable, just some of our misery is grounded in reality.

My wife was on a girls trip and texted me one night she was having a drink with Tim.

A few trips later she sent me a picture of them two on the beach.

But I know she hasn't cheated.

Mine wouldn't go on such.

So she's got someone taking care of her at home. How often does the UPS guy delivery a "package"?

Normally I'd be suspicious and cynical about this situation, but honestly Tim sounds like a good guy.

Nope. Trust is. You either have it or you don't. Those that do tend to be less miserable in their relationships.

Keeping friendships besides your spouse is also key to a non miserable relationship. Yeah, your spouse should be your best friend above all others....but you still need friends. Guys trips/girls trips help maintain those friendships when it's not as easy to spend time with friends due to family obligations. Not saying all trips should be without your spouse, of course not. But trips without them can be beneficial.
