Why do I always feel like I didn't get my Kid enough

Geez - Spent about $450 on a 10 year old and just laid the Santa spread out, looks weak and I'm worried he will be disappointed.

Good, maybe he wont grow up to be a spoiled brat. The point of Christmas isnt to get your kid $2500 worth of shite so your "Santa spread" looks good.

I feel the same way also. I know I'm being stupid. I think it's more about the fact the closer it gets to Christmas I start second guessing if what I got them is what they will like, and how bad I screwed up. Which is never they are always happy

I'm grateful to have young kids right now (2 and 5), so I can buy a few nice things and then overwhelm them with a large quantity of cheap gifts to fill in the cracks. And we can get away with spending less on the 2-year-old.

I wish mine was was still that small, 7, 9, 11. At that age I'm fighting to keep the magic alive. Almost 11 at night and afraid to bring the gifts out and get caught. Not including at that age they know what they like so at least my kids I try to stay on point, and not stray off the path with gifts. Easy to get carried away.

Damn i was spolied rotten lol. One year my dad, alone, gotb me a power glove, a game boy and a basket full of Nintendo games. I remember counting 17 in the basket.
Anything less than 600 dollars and you should be ashamed. This is Christmas.

I am so fricking with you on this but am drawing a blank.
What bible verse was it that mentioned the $600 and was that at $600 value then, or now? It is definitely important to get this done properly.

I always feel like I got way too much and I don't want them to be spoiled brats. I always end up with stuff I save for valentines and Easter.
