I love all the South Park gifs in here. That's the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread too.

I've thought a lot about it.

It is an unconscious connection with their egos. It is literally them saying for us to look at how badass they are. It serves no legitimate function otherwise.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not hating on hearing a good bike / motor. I love all that shite, but I'm with you. It is silly.

To make sure Karens and Kens know they’re there so they won’t take the cyclists’ lanes when the light turns green. It’s amazing how stupid Karens and Kens can be. That’s also why cyclists’ mufflers are so loud. Most riders don’t trust that other drivers will notice them visually.

Do Harleys have common issues with idling?

FTR, it tickles my ole ladys cooter when I rev the bike up. She wont let me give another female a ride because they will get aroused.

I always get a little weirded out when that happens. Two people in two different parts of the world had the idea to look up the same gif and downloaded/uploaded at the same time, then made the post and hit submit at practically the same time.

Just weird.

A motorcycle with a engine design that is inferior to almost anything else, ever made. and only exits today because of the annoying noise it makes.

I see a lot of people keep say "to keep it from stalling or killing"...

I get it sounds good to hear that lope, but Christ, turn the idle up...

In this case, not really. When I see or think about motorcycle enthusiasts, this South Park episode is the first thing I think of.

Yes, yes. But....another person had the exact same thought as you at the exact same time as you and you two made the exact same decision to make the exact same post at the exact same time.

If this were 300 years ago, you two would be stoned for being witches.

Certainly the origin, I will give a guy with an old knucklehead or panhead a little slack but someone on a modern Harley or metric bike is just doing it for attention.
