Why do businesses cater to one-half the population?

Actually less than one half. I don’t use syrup very often anyway, but now I’m more inclined to buy log cabin or Steen’s cane syrup. Do decisions like this actually make these places money? SJW’s aren’t exactly big spenders
ETA: And before board libs chime in, I think the bakers that refuse to bake gay people cakes are stupid too. But in their instance it is a much smaller % of the population

I think it’s dumb to cater to the twitter mob. But companies probably wager that the people who actually buy their stuff will continue buying it. Capitulate to the sky screamers and get the business out of the headlines as quickly as possible.

Because they know most of the silent majority will still buy their products.
Meaning: if you’re the one that stops buying their products based on political stance...they don’t care about your money. They don’t need it.
