Because covid was 99% survivable.

I have never heard this before….I would be interested in seeing this documentation.

Amish are farmers and work outside a lot. Covid was more prevalent in persons who were more homebound. Harder for a virus like that to grow in places where people are active and moving about outside.
If you paid attention Covid exploded in closed environments at least in the US. So older people who did not get out as much were more susceptible to catching it....and cities where people would work indoors in close proximity.
If you already had a weakened constitution you were susceptible. If you noticed a lot of kids did not catch Covid. More robust immune systems and probably were outside more.

Mennonites, Mormons, Amish all bleed the system dry.
I have classmates that’s a Judge in NM. He was telling me about “on the books and off the books” Mormon children. Some are born in hospitals, birth certificate ready to draw a lifetime of state and federal benefits. Some are born on compounds by midwives and they will never exist. Leadership is mostly bloodline centric, the royalty don’t want any record of their children.

We know the Amish community does not vaccinate, why didn’t they get wiped out by Covid?
It's not a conspiracy or a gotcha moment...
The answer is simple and has been consistent since 2020, the severity COVID complications were and will always be dependent on age and pre-existing heath conditions. In kids, young adults, and healthy older adults, COVID was and will always be a mild illness with or without vaccinations.
COVID deaths and serious complications were and will always be the elderly and people with pre-existing conditions.
LINK
"COVID vaccination prevented an estimated 2.5 million deaths globally from December 2020 to October 2024, with lives saved among people ages 60 and older accounting for nearly 90% of that mortality benefit... Children and adolescents ages 19 and younger made up only 0.01% of the estimated total lives saved by vaccination, with young adults ages 20 to 29 accounting for another 0.07% of saved lives."
Thus, unless everyone in the Amish communities was >60 years old, obese, hypertensive, and diabetic... there will be no wiping.

No football games today so i figured id just jump in and bicker with you idiots over the same shite yall have been complaining about daily for years now.
Maybe one day yall will look back and realize it wasnt the right/left or blacks/whites that ruined this country, but rather the people/corporations that control them both.

Because no population got wiped out by COVID

Calling people ‘idiots’ while you play the enlightened Moderate doesn’t make your point(s) stronger, it just makes you smug douche no one takes seriously. (i.e. TDS9, Clark14, etc)
Sure, corporations and elites have influence; no one’s denying that. But acting like it’s only them while ignoring the policies and cultural garbage pushed by the Left is just lazy. One side is actually writing and enforcing the rules that have gutted schools, wrecked cities, and opened borders. That’s not some faceless corporation, nope, that’s elected officials with a (D) next to their name.
So if you want to bicker like a girl, fine, but drop the condescending ‘I’m above it all’ act while doing it.

And their election campaign was paid for by who?
Put a person with a D in and wipe out policies, then put a person with an R in to wipe out policies you want gone the next term. Wax on, wax off.
Meanwhile....

Wax on, wax off all you want to Mr Miyagi, but only one side keeps swinging the wrecking ball at law enforcement, education, and the border.
That’s not some faceless ‘system,’ that’s Democrats actively legislating and governing. Pointing at donors like it erases their responsibility is just another way of ducking the obvious. (Your goal here)

New research from West Virginia University sociologists suggests this face-to-face interaction, coupled with a distrust in preventative medicine, led to “excess deaths” among the Amish population in 2020. The death rate for that year soared above the baseline average from 2015 to 2019, with the largest spike – 125% - occurring in November.
Why doesn’t the research tell us what caused the extra 25% in deaths? Seems like that would have been a simple thing to include.
And why did they word it that way? “Excess Deaths”
What a weird way to say it. Why not just say “the Amish community suffered 25% more Covid deaths than the rest of society”
Posted on 9/10/25 at 12:57 pm to HeadCall
the use of “excess deaths” also caught my eye and is troubling.

Surely you jest. The Republicans are trying to privatize schools like they privatized prisons. All in the name of sending public money to private corps.
The corps also liked open borders because cheap labor.
You need to quit looking at why Ds or Rs are pushing for things and think why would the people spending billions to get them elected push for these things.
Its all planned because they are much smarter than the voting base.
