Sure, consolidate some of the satellite campuses and get rid of worthless programs like LGBT studies and you’ll have enough funding to build a brand new library

Because LSU is in the midst of a multi million dollar campus renovation campaign right now and the library hasn’t been done yet. That’s why. Every building can’t be under construction at the Same damn time

And people aren't clamoring for the school to cut programs and fire teachers. It's a novel concept to want LSU to expand and do more. The notion of competition and excellence aren't used for academia on TD.

Reason one is LSU hasn’t made it a priority or it could have been built by now. They had other priorities.

A libaray is the heart of every university. It is such a joke and embarrassment the state of Middleton. Almost beyond comprehension. Is LSU just a pathetic joke of an institution? I guess it is judging by the library. Really sad.
