A friend of mine, who is a HS teacher, told me her students told her.. That if you ever go to Popeyes and you order something that they don't have in the cooking cycle (onion rings, apple pies, etc) they will tell you they are out of it because they don't feel like going get it out the freezer and put it in to fry.

This is kind of off topic... because it's not about not letting you speak.. But one time I went to popeyes and order a shrimp dinner. I pulled up to the window and this biiiiggg ole woman with this big smile told me "hey baby.. Imma need you to pull up over there because I got them hot skirmps coming for you".. It was just the way she looked, she was extra excited to tell me hot skirmps were coming out.. One of my friends were with me and we couldn't stop laughing.. I heard people say skirmp before, but the way she did it was different.. And still makes me laugh when thinking about it.

Popeye sucks and is a surprise that trashy people that eat there get upset with the trash workers?

If you ran a Popeye's like a Chik-Fil-A you'd make a billion dollars

100% true story-
I asked Popeye’s at a drive thru for green beans on the side

I got green beans, but they were put in the bag—sideways.

Reminds me of my Arby's story. I asked for a brisket sandwich plain. Well they didn't understand that, so I described it to them: "I just want the meat only." When I got home and opened the box there was just a pile of brisket and nothing else.

Popeye's chicken does not suck, it's the best fried chicken if you can get it fresh, cooked properly and not tainted with reverse racism...Same with a BK whopper....I do realize though that those are huge "ifs".

Yes, I'm trashy, and yes most Popeye's worker are trashy. But at least they're not brainwashed and live in a religious fast food commune like the Chick-fil-A workers who are dropped off in a van every morning except Sundays to do their mandatory jobs, or else you'll never see or hear from them again.

When I moved to The Woodlands, I realized how much nicer it was here compared to other places when I visited the Popeyes. No wait and kind people. Not like over the top like CFA, but nicer than typical fast food. It's amazing to know you can get Popeyes from decent people.

ur fault. if u go to popeyes and order anything besides fried chicken (tenders dont count), you are asking for it

and also, the spicy is actually worse than the mild normally because its always sitting out longer. if you want no wait and some amazing chicken, always just order the 4 pc mild and you will not be disappointed.

the workers know only white people order tenders btw lol

The Mexican labor force in Texas is always accommodating, timely and rarely screw up an order.

Redstone Arsenal Burger King is the same exact way...so my response to them when they keep interrupting...I just keep starting over.

After about the 3rd time the "a-hole" told me I don't have to keep starting over...to which I responded, "Don't interrupt and I won't start over". Yeah...I'm that guy.

I hate when they continue to interrupt you.

Or the other option is to rapid fire your order...but you better check it first...because the "assholes" probably got it wrong. And in that case...sit at the window and check the order...it throws off their statistics for order times
You sound like the a-hole in this situation. I haven't had my meals wrong in years because I know they have to go through their questioning system of taking orders, and they'll likely get it correct if you don't rush through it like an a-hole.

This is an amazing thread. I went to Popeyes on 2/18 (day before this was posted), and had this exact experience. Probably first time I've been to one in 5 years.

there are times, when

3 spicy legs
2 small cajun rice
1 biscuit
1 fried apple pie
fountain drink

is the best meal in the world.

I really like Chic-Fil-A, and their customer service is superior, but I'm rarely full after ordering one of their meals. Their portions are pretty small (and you need a magnifying glass to see their nuggets if you ever get those).

A spicy chicken sandwich (the best) plus waffle fries (da bomb) and a drink is just south of 1,000 calories.

If that doesn't fill you up for at least one meal, you are a grade A certified fatass.

Them: take ur order
Me: Uh yes...
Them: fore u order I let u know we only takin exact change rite now
Me: Ok that's fine...half of your menu is dark so could you please remind me what comes with a family meal
Them: 2 sides n 6 biscuits
Me: ok I'll take the 12 piece family meal
Them: what sides
Me: red beans and rice and cajun rice
Them: spicy mild
Me: spicy
Them: 10 minutes
Me: I'm sorry, 10 minutes what?
Them: gonna be 10 minutes on da spicy
Me: ok I'll take mild
Them: 10 minutes
Me: No I said I'll take mild
Them: 10 minutes on mild
Me: ok bye

Then drove off to Canes
