This has been proven not to be a racist revisioning of history by google. It's because all of those black inventors are African American inventors. American is in their description prominently.
While people Tesla, Graham Bell, and Edison do not have American in their description.
I think google is a progressive leaning totalitarian company that will destroy us with their hubris surrounding their AI, but this is not one of the reasons why. This is literally about adjectives used to describe people and search terms.
