Why are there so many lawyer commercials in New Orleans?

I swear literally every other commercial is an attorney. There are some that come on TV in Houston where I live, but it's nowhere near the amount I see when I'm in New Orleans. Like I said... it's literally every other commercial.
Are people in New Orleans filing a ton of lawsuits or something?

I hope you realize these New Orleans TV stations reach almost half the state and half of these lawyers have offices all over the Gulf Coast. There are also quite a few of Baton Rouge lawyers on these nola tv stations.
But I assume you’re smart enough to realize that since you live in Houston.

Ad buys in NOLA would be much cheaper than Houston. H-town is a top 10 market and NOLA is about 53rd.
PI firms are a license to print money but the ad buys in Houston would likely be far less profitable. It also may be the LA bar is more lenient and thus ads can be designed more effectively. In the end, it is simple economics.

Ask Chip Forstall. He knows the law and is always on call.

Bc there’s only three industries left in Nola. Tourism/hospitality, medical, legal.

The recent increases (last 5-6 years or so) have been driven by cheap gas and cell phones which have driven up the number of overall accidents (more miles driven) and the number of accidents per mile (distracted driving). PI claims have stayed pretty steady in relation to the number of accidents.

Because the attorneys target blacks. People may not like to hear that, but it’s true. When I was in jail, the tv was always on black targeted shows like Jerry Springer, BET, Paternity Court, or some black version of The View. Every fricking commercial was attorney commercials. Damn near every single one.
