Perret's in Kenner is still going strong. They sell school uniforms, and Dickie's pants for Jesuit and Rummel. They also sell the school shoes.

Used to be a really big one on Garland Rd. over in the Lakewood area. Was the best place around to buy flags.

the one on Fla Blvd closed?

I'm pretty sure Sinclairs closed, but am not 100% positive. They closed their Joor Rd. location many years ago.

But frick them anyway. They were stupid with their pricing. At any random gun show I could get two ammo cans for the price Sinclairs wanted for just one.

They were prosperous until they got too popular. They then raised their prices to gouge status.

When Al Gore invented the internet, the same products became available, for far less, online.

There's still plenty in places like Fayetteville, NC (or at least there was when we left last year).

It's illegal to sell SAPI plates BTW.

Several years ago they moved to a side street off of Airline Hwy, sort of behind a Chinese Buffet close to the Nissan dealership, do not know if they are still open.

They are way over priced. I was looking for an extra cot the other day, they wanted 80 bucks for one. I will try and get one from a supply sergeant for free.

Sinclair's is closed now, as is the surplus store in Brusly that was on Highway 1. If you need some gear in the Baton Rouge area, try Khyber Pass on Airline in Prairieville or Gonzales Military Surplus on Burnside in Gonzales.

With our military budget cut to the bone, war materiel is in short supply and badly needed. Little is available to sell as surplus right now.

More like will be shitty. A bunch of bitter lifers reliving their first sergeant days. I've had unopened shite, still in the plastic refused. Yet they still issue you dirty shite. It boggles the mind.

They have a few around Orlando that are pretty popular.
For a short time they even were building & selling underground bunkers.
