My mom developed a shellfish allergy in her middle age that manifested in unbearably itchy palms and sometimes feet.

She could eat shrimp, but no crab, lobster, or crawfish for the rest of her life.

He bottom of my left foot has been like that for 4 years. Nothing on it. No splinter, athletes foot, aids, cut etc. I did have someone tell me it’s a nerve problem in my lower back.

Have you considered using the tissue next to the toilet to wipe your arse? Going bare could lead to some irritation.

I had something similar at one time...I finally figured out that I was allergic to the shite that they put in antibacterial soap. I stopped washing my hands with it, and the problem went away.

fwiw, before I got it figured out, I took an allergy pill (like Claritin or Zyrtec) each morning and that helped a good bit.

I go through phases where mine itch to the point of waking me up in the middle of the night to weeks with no issues
Nothing works as far as lotion or anti itch creams to stop the itch but lotion can make it feel better once you’ve scratched it raw
I figure it’s nerve related & deal with it
