6'2" 195lbs and not a gay. Tacoma has plenty of cab space. Stop exaggerating.

but is still full of bland.

my wife's vehicle has heated/cooled seats. programmable seats. and pretty much every gadget possible. not something i personally need in a truck, but that's just me. let me know how all that automated / electronics work in 4-5 years.

plus it's just extra crap to break soon as the warranty goes out.

The problem is, you are comparing the top package in the Tacoma with mid range packages in the other vehicles. What is the price comparison between the trd pro, and a King ranch, or raptor?

The King Ranch & Denali have far, far more upgrades than the TRD Pro.
The trucks I listed may not be the top ends of their brands, but have more comparable features.

Also the Z71 & FX4 packages offer offroad upgrades (locking differential, etc.).

The TRD Pro is their "top end" in that it is a TRD Off Road with a few port added options and a new badge +$6,000.

They do that with the 4Runner too. It's the same as the TRD Off Road but a special paint, a roof rack, and some mildly better suspension.

It's the most expensive because clowns with too much money don't care. The TRD Off Road probably a better comparison, or the Limited even.

It's a midlife crisis thing. As a boy most of these guys wanted a Tacoma. Now that they can afford it they want to be the cool guy with the Tacoma instead of a man with a full sized truck.

This is some grade A retarded bullshite right here.

Oh, I'm not arguing that the kr or Denali don't offer more features, but a they should really be compared more to the trd off-road, as the pro offers the same features as the off road, with different suspension, and other trail crap. It is like comparing a King ranch to a raptor. The King ranch is nicer, but the raptor has more trail features.

And as I said before, comparing used prices is even more of a reason to buy a Tacoma, they clearly hold their value better that the other trucks you listed. If I'm purchasing a vehicle, I'm not looking for the one that depreciates the fastest.

This is a big factor for me. I don’t need or want more electronics that will break in 6 years. I live in the south and rarely would use heated seats. I was reading about the new Ram and it sounds nice but that MFer will be a headache down the road.

a non lifted and no bigger shoe tacoma defeats the biggest purpose of what all the off roading is about. Put some bigger tires and lift and your MPG is dog shite.

Large pick up trucks aren't worth a shite off road. An F250 with a mall crawler lift and 40" is about as useless as you can get.

Recently went through this same decision and went with the 4Runner. Inside a little roomier, I preferred the cargo space to a truck bed for my needs, and if I ever need to move something bigger with the back seats flat it’s basically the same size as the taco bed.

Basically where I am at but the bed would be nice for work
