By this logic, everyone who voted for Trump is at fault for Biden being elected.
Only those who voted for Biden are “at fault” for electing him.

Those who voted for Trump are at fault for all of his actions from 2016-2020, while those who voted for Biden will be at fault for all of his actions from 2021-2024.

A good example of how this works involves gun control.

An individual who states that they are against gun control, yet voted for someone who was for gun control, is ultimately for gun control.

We absorb the positions of those we vote for.

Whether people here state “no, don’t do it” or “burn, baby burn”, that will have zero impact on the situation.

So...where do you draw the line on that?

That's your answer to the question of why would people root for cities to burn. If your answer is because you have no control over that, your logic is stating you are rooting for bad things to happen to people as long as you don't have control over that.

Either that's not your real answer, or you're rooting fo bad things to happen to just about everyone you don't know or has no direct impact to you.

Scruffy doesn’t know your voting habits, but as for those who live there, if they voted for a politician who supported the rioters, condemned those who attempted to stop them, or used them as political pawns, then those voters also did the exact same thing via association.

And if they didn't, then again, see the OP, why are people rooting for bad things to happen to those people and their property? That is the question.

The question wasn't about just people who are democrats who voted that way.

Reread what was quoted.

The poster specifically said what about people who didn't vote democrat, and the poster said it's their fault.

Yes, exactly. That's also the opposite of what the poster I replied to said

So again, why are you questioning me for taking issue with a guy blaming republicans in those cities who did not vote for the Democrats in those cities?

This is really dumb logic

Everyone that supported Trump, did not support 100% of the things he did and/or said

Everyone that supports Biden, does not support 100% of the things he does or says

The vast majority of people, vote for someone based on a few policies, if not just one

Did you read the post I quoted? It's EXACTLY what the poster said.

He literally blamed republicans who didn't vote for democrats in those cities for their issues. What part of that did you miss?

Right, if his logic were correct, then you'd basically never vote for anyone if you truly stuck to that standard.

What about Republican voters in those same cities who are having their property destroyed? Don't care about them, I guess?

The concept is entirely irrelevant from the beginning, so where I draw the line doesn’t matter.

No, the answer is “it doesn’t matter one way or another”.

Oppose, support, condemn, etc., it is all irrelevant.

The only ones who deserve any blame for any of this are the ones who ultimately perform the looting and burning.

An individual stating “burn, baby burn” in LA has as much control over the situation as some in CA saying “no, don’t do that”.

Why should anyone care about what is said by those who aren’t involved?

Will it change anything?

No.

Good lord, this is an idiotic take.
