No problem with people visiting. Do so at your own risk
I lived there for a long time and have family there. My ex’s family is one of the oldest families living in the city. They’ll never leave and imo, they’re suckers. Paying to a racist regime for services that are broken. Just a cat 4 away from complete collapse.
New Orleans will slowly devolve into a tacky tourist center as the backbone of industry gets moved out. The port will always do well but it could be so much more.
