Why are Jeep prices so damn insane?

Was looking at getting a Wrangler because I like to drive on back roads in the Applacia, Ozarks, etc. I looked at them a few years ago, but it seems the prices have fricking doubled. Used 2010 Wrangles with 100k miles are like $20k. When I last looked at them something like that would've been $12k at most.

Jeeps have always held their value despite what people say here. If you do buy a newer Jeep I recommend buying and 2012 or newer.
