You’ve obviously never had an encounter with pulp-wood truck.

The Cane-hauling trucks enjoy a considerable mulligan as to weight regulations from the State Police as well.

So do catfish hauling trucks

8 or 9 tanks filled with water and 2-3k lbs of fish per box. Fish alone around 20-25k lbs plus weight of the tanks, oxygen bottles, and all that water. No way it’s not over the limit

Look up the Louisiana traffic laws - Title 32 Many state something to the effect ‘except for farm vehicles doing their job’ Simply tells the cops, ‘don’t f@#k with the farmers’

The worst is the fact grain truck drivers don’t need a CDL as long as they haul within a 100 mile radius. Every harvest the highways are full of idiots in grain trucks

One just Friday tried to go around the railroad barrier and beat a train on hwy 82 and didn’t beat it. Right in front of the delta western feed mill on hwy 82

Having a cdl literally means nothing. It’s a piece of paper with a dr signing off saying you’ve been taking your blood pressure meds. There are plenty of people hauling grain without a cdl that are more qualified than ones with. Everyday the highways are full of idiots with drivers license

Justin Trudeau has been giving them to everyone from East Africa, India, and the Middle East - and thanks to shitty federal policy they're flooding the United States.

A lot of farmers of all kinds are able to haul without CDL. I believe my red neck farmer buddy in Indianola told me something to that effect.

Try driving behind a gravel truck, them nets don't do shite. Guaranteed cracked windshield or massive paint chip but they go slow so its insufferable not passing them.

I'd rather share the road with a cane truck than with a drunk.

While we’re talking cane trucks, cane trucks should be required to have a netting or cover to prevent cane leaves and debris from flying out the truck.

Why not both??? This is Louisiana. You probably get 2 for 1 vehicle more than you think!
