I've just recently started to notice how most of the successful people in the US are either tech moguls, or someone who played the stock market well. What does that mean exactly?

Because we smart people need these idiots to be productive by making things with their hands while we come up with all the ideas by staying up late and sleeping in: Night Owls on average more intelligent.

Tech moguls stayed up all night coding something badass........stock market folks woke up early to research the next investment and early hours trade.....

I'm most productive from 8pm til midnight. If I have to wake up early, I'm a zombie.

I wake up at 5 every morning. It's not cool at all.

Pretty much all my life changing ideas come at 2 AM when I can't sleep.

I absolutely love working in office with no one else around.

I couldn't imagine going to bed at 1 and waking up at 6 or 7 everyday. I wonder if these people nap though.

My boss says she falls asleep at 10. Wakes up at 11:30-12. Goes back to sleep within 30 minutes to an hour. And wakes up for good at 4. Every night.

At 4 am I only have 2 hours left in the work day. Everyone else is still sleeping. If you wake up at 4, y'all be lazy.

I have to wake up at 4am and leave my girlfriend's house and sneak back into bed before the misses wakes up and notices I've been out all night.

I love occasionally going to the office while its still dark. Drinking a coffee and eating something while nobody's there. I do usually get a lot done those first couple hours.
I don't have the discipline to do this regularly, but it is a strange environment when no one else is there...kinda nice.

That chart shows a bunch of boring mother frickers that put their teeth in a jar at 9:30 pm, wake up to Metamucil, and probably don't even do coke

I work some fricked up office hours. I go to bed at 5AM and sleep til noon. It's nice to be driving home at 4AM and enjoy the peace before the chaos.

The time that envokes the age old question - one more line or should we get some sleep?

I'd love to wake up that early every morning.
My problem is that no matter what time I wake up, what I do that day, or how tired I am, I will stay up until midnight. Every night.

Even though he knows productivity experts say doing email first thing in the morning expends prime mental energy on busywork, Mr. Perry says clearing his inbox curbs his anxiety. “I feel I get a head start on everybody,” he says.
As someone who works internationally, it get maddening anxiety when I wakeup to 10-15 emails in my inbox. It freaks me out, and I can't not answer them immediately. I get lulls from time to them depending on clients and projects, but right now my two biggest clients are in Tokyo and London, and it's miserable.
I get up at 4:30, answer all emails until I have a clean inbox, and then go workout. It's the only way to start my day. I worked in Los Angeles for a week a couple months ago, and waking to have emails from Tokyo, London and all the US was panic-inducing
