I take Vyvanse and it can jump my bp. In fact the Dr wanted my Bp readings on a consistent basis before he’d prescribe them.
I workout etc, but it wouldn’t hurt to loose 10 -15 lbs, I’d just feel better.
I have a good friend that bikes regularly, exercises, stopped drinking and still takes Bp meds- I think for some it’s hereditary.
All the best.

i'm on my 7th different one. finally found one that sorta works for me without the other side effects.

I've been on a bunch of different ones since about age 32. My dad has the same issue. Neither of us are big fat guys.

I can get mine down some naturally through the DASH diet and exercise but not low enough for my doctor.

I take Toprol and Avapro. I can't take ace inhibitors.

I am on 25mg of hydrothoraclyozide and high BP runs in the family. It seems to fluctuate with me depending on what time of the day I measure. I exercise at least 3-4 times a week, but could stand to lose a little more weight.

Mine is generally about ideal on meds. Off meds it's usually like 160/95

Well-constructed ads.

They sure stick with you.

And you remember what they're selling too.

And they know their audience, too. In Birmingham, I hear the Big Lou ads on WJOX, the main sports talk station.

Lisonopril/HTZ daily. On it for over 17 years, always on target when checked.

Yes. I average around 115/70 now. It was nothing for me to hit over 180/120 prior to starting meds.
