started on Lisinopril 10 mg when i was over 320, but I'm down to 243 as of this am - still on them, but hoping I wont have to be on them much longer.
I got up to 360 down to 218. If I remember correctly, my doc took me off around 240-245. Congrats on the weight loss man

I’m about to be 34, and overweight. Need to lose about 40 lbs. Down about 6 or 8 since the start of the year.
Family has a history of high BP, among other shite. My grandfather had diabetes and a heart attack, but cancer ended up killing him. Dad has diabetes, and has had a heart attack and stroke. He is now disabled, but survived it all and is taking care of himself as best as he can now.
Anyway, my BP was consistently running around 140/90 back around Christmas, getting woozy when I stood up to quick, fingers tingling, just achy all the time, shite like that. So I went to the dr and was like I don’t want to start having serious problem in 20 years like my ancestors, then croak out early. Sure enough, get in the office, 140/90. Blood work said I also was B12 deficient. So I’ve been giving myself B12 shots, sup Roger Clemens, and he put me on some BP medications. I don’t know the actual medicine’s name or the dosage, but I’m consistently 110-120/70-75 now.
Feel way better, but don’t know whether it’s the B12 or the BP meds that deserve the most credit.

Was on that for a while, but the diuretic part made me extremely dehydrated and BP dropped to dangerous levels. Ended up in the hospital for about a week getting fluids and near kidney failure.
Still on the Lisinopril but without the diuretic. 5'10" 165 lbs, so BP shouldn't be an issue. Probably genetic.

I've been on metoprolol, a beta blocker and benazepril, an ACE inhibitor. My dick is like a skin tag now, I keep waiting for it to just fall off.
