Yeah admissions standards are dropping across the board. High achieving kids are going to college elsewhere, so these schools are lowering standards.

Admitedly the first part of this is newer for LSU but the last part is not new. Lots of major universities plan for freshman failure/weed out.

It’s mostly sisters driving up LSU’s black student numbers. Sisters are fine by themselves but the brothers who don’t go to LSU start sniffing around campus and that’s where the problems come from.
